All Football Manager 2020 Features and FM20 Mobile features

Even more new Football Manager 2020 features and improvements in detail

• Teams from Portugal have B-team improvements

Since many B-teams in Portugal aren’t separate clubs to the senior club, you can now request which B-team player attend first-team training sessions.

• New squad registration rules for Norway teams

When managing Norway teams, you now have to make A team and B team squads. The B team players are only allowed to play 3 leagues matches a season.

• New conversations with players about financial fair play

Now you will have more conversation options when selling players. You will be able to tell them it’s because of financial fair play and they will understand your decision.

• Protest transfers that your board accepts

You can finally protest against a transfer that your board automatically accepted. This will help managers of lower league clubs quite a lot!

• Two new A-League (Australia) sides to the game

Football Federation Australia has announced Western Melbourne Group and Macarthur South West Sydney will join an expanded Hyundai A-League.

• Resignation improvements

The board can now ask you to reconsider your resignation if they think you were doing a good job. They will also discuss ways to make you stay.

• Club colors for manager’s clothing

When editing how your manager will look like, you can choose the option “club colors” to match with your club.

• Loan durations

Loans can now last any number of months you choose and a few more seasons options.

• New Statistics for Goalkeepers

You will be able to see statistics for “Penalties Faced” and “Penalties Saved” in the goalkeeper’s profile.

• Warning – work permit issues

You will get a warning from your staff when a player can’t renew a contract because he has no chance to get a work permit.

• Request to have a B-team

Many teams don’t have a B-team and now you can request from your board to allow you to have one.

• Staff progression

Young staff will improve better/quicker when working with better coaches, scouts will improve better/quicker when doing more scouts and so on…

• Staff search filter

When searching for new staff, you can filter them out by the country they are based in.

• Negotiate who will pay salary if the player is loaned back

When you buy a player and loan him back to the team you just bought him from as part of the transfer, you can now negotiate who will pay his salary.

• Improved newgen Faces

We have new improved newgen faces. You can check the video to see the difference between FM19 and FM20:

• Released players join local clubs

When players are released, particularly at lower levels, they are now very likely to join a local club to the club they were released from.

• Intensive language course when loaned back

When you buy a player and loan him back to the team you just bought him from as part of the transfer, you can send him on an intensive language course so he is ready for your country when the time comes.

• Ask DoF to look for specific target position players

Now you can ask your DoF to look for roles, not just positions of players.

• Multiple buyback clauses

You can now make multiple buyback clauses in transfers depending on when you buy back the player.

• A-league clubs – senior players to youth team changes

When playing in the Australian A-league, you can now choose tree senior players who will be able to play for the youth team throughout the whole season.

• New Steam Achievements

There will be three new steam achievements available to unlock all based on money earned in the game.

• Randomization of newgen dates

This is a forum suggestion that they’ve listened to. We quote Miles Jacobson on this one:

“Further randomization of new gen dates. Mainly to hinder those of you who cheat, especially in network games….”

• Board requests for loans

You can ask your board to give you extra money to complete a very important loan.

• Track transfer spending more accurately

There will be an analysis of ins and outs of transfer spending.

• Revamped the competitions rules screen

A quarter-final might have different rules than the semi-final or the final. You will now see the rules more clearly for each stage of a competition.

• More information about renewing contracts

Staff will now give you more information about why they think someone is deserving or not deserving of a contract extension.

• Club sponsorship table

You will now see how much each team from the league is earning from sponsorships.

• Staff suggestions to keep a selected style of play

Your staff will now tell you what you are doing wrong when it comes to a certain style of play you chose. They will tell you which instructions to add and which to remove.

Of course, FM20 mobile isn’t even close to the complexity of the real game, but the price isn’t even close to the price of the real game either. You can experience the best mobile football manager that exists in the world for only £8.99 / €9.99 / $8.99.

This version of the Football Manager was created for people who don’t want to worry about diving too deep into details. There is only a 2D engine, but you can go through games and seasons very fast.

New Features for FM20 Mobile

• Two New Leagues are added to Football Manager Mobile this year. They are Denmark and Greece

That means there are now 21 nations in the game and a total of 60 leagues.

• Two New Languages – Dutch and Portuguese languages are added

• Revamped Youth Development and Mentoring – A new system was created for promoting youth candidates while getting feedback on their improvement. As a bonus to that, your senior player can now mentor promising youngsters

  

• Reserve Leagues for Youngsters – Reserve Leagues were added where your youngsters can get their first competitive experience and get a taste of a real competition

• News and Media Revamped – Now, you will have a lot more information on how media talks affect your players. For example, promising a new contract.

• Rivalries – Names were added to derbies, and their importance affecting the game has risen. For example, your rival is less likely to sell you a player.

• Matchday experience – There is now a lot more information in the match preview and throughout the match. The most advanced match engine to date will bring you the smoothest football manager mobile experience ever.

• Skin Update – The overall skin of the game has been updated.
• Player Titles – Player titles from the full game have been added to the mobile game. Some examples are „Elite Winger“ or „ Tireless Midfielder. “
