You won`t believe how many Turkish FM20 Wonderkids there are!

We all know many world-class players with origins from Turkey. In most cases, although they are Turkish, they play for other nations. The most common country being Germany where many Turks emigrated. Their kids decide to play for Germany and not for Turkey.

Such cases are:

• Mehmet Scholl
• İlkay Gündoğan
• Emre Can
• Nuri Sahin
• Hamit Altıntop
• Hakan Çalhanoğlu
• Mesut Özil

All of these players are amazing, and they could have played for Turkey, but they decided not to do so.

Today we talk about players who are wonderkids and will play for Turkey in the future. They are FM20 Turkish wonderkids with high potential ability and maximum age of 20.

1. Naci Ünüvar – 16 years old – Ajax – P.A. 164

Naci Ünüvar is a 16-year-old Turkish/Dutch wonderkid. He is a player with the highest potential ability out of all Turks on this list. He can be approached without a transfer and can be gotten for only $2.7M of compensation.

• A very determined player
• Really good finishing ability
• A versatile player who is natural in a couple of positions
• A very technical player who can improve a lot
• The only weakness is his ability to challenge in the air

2. Orkun Kökcü – 18 years old – Feyenoord Under 19s – P.A. 157

Orkun Kökcü is an 18-year-old central midfielder currently playing for Feyenoord Under 19s. Orkun Kökcü is a Turkish FM 20 wonderkid.

Feyenoord is a Dutch team that knows when they have a gem in their hand, and they won’t let him go cheaply. We had to pay $12.5M and a 30% percentage of profit from the next sale clause to get him in our test save.

• A versatile player who is natural in a couple of positions
• Fairly ambitious player
• A committed player who gives his all for the team
• Fairly consistent player
• Gets rarely injured
• The only weakness is his ability to challenge in the air

3. Berke Özer – 19 years old – Fenerbahçe A.Ş. – P.A. 154

Berke Özer is a 19-year-old talented goalkeeper from Turkey. He is a Fenerbahçe player who is currently on loan at Westerlo. We managed to buy him for $4.6M in our save.

• Fairly balanced personality
• Really good at one on ones
• Very ambitious player
• Fairly susceptible to injuries

4. Mustafa Kapı – 16 years old – Galatasaray A.Ş. – P.A. 150

Mustafa Kapi is a 16-year-old central midfielder who is Turkish Football Manager 2020 wonderkid for sure. We managed to get an offer accepted for him for $1.8m but our Director of Football failed at negotiating the contract.

• Fairly determined and temperamental player
• A skillful player with good dribbling
• Very weak player (lack of strength) and low marking
• He can improve a lot
• His weakness is his ability to challenge in the air

5. Ömer Beyaz – 15 years old – Fenerbahçe A.Ş. Under 19s – P.A. 149

Ömer Beyaz is a 15-year-old AMC who can be bought for $7.5M. Based on his potential ability he is the 5^th best Turkish wonderkid.

• Ability to strike a ball from distance makes the player a constant danger to the opposition
• Is a natural in a couple of positions
• Balanced and normal personality
• Good technique, especially when striking the ball
• Isn’t very adaptable to living in another country
• Very low strength and overall athleticism

6. Abdülkadir Ömür – 20 years old – Trabzonspor A.Ş. – P.A. 148

Abdülkadir Ömür is a 20-year-old AMR and he has the highest current ability out of all of these players on this list. That makes him expensive.

We managed to get an offer accepted for him for $20M but our Director of Football failed at negotiating the contract.

• A really fast player with great pace and acceleration
• Very technical player
• Is a natural in a couple of positions
• Fairly ambitious and consistent performer
• Lack of strength and fitness means his overall athleticism is bad

7. Ferhat Çogalan – 17 years old – LOSC Under 19s – P.A. 147

Ferhat is a 17-year-old French/Turkish FM20 wonderkid. He plays the AMC position and can be bought for $5M.

• A very driven player
• Possesses a fair amount of pace
• His passing ability underlines his technical prowess
• A versatile player who can play in a couple of positions
• Currently lacks the game intelligence to compete at higher levels

8. Çağatay Yılmaz – 19 years old – Bursaspor – P.A. 147

Çağatay Yılmaz is an FM20 Turkish wonderkid striker. At 19 years old he is playing for Bursaspor and he can be bought for $2.9M

• A fairly skillful player
• His ability to do the unexpected is one of the reasons behind his ability to go past his man
• Is a natural in a couple of positions
• Balanced and normal personality
• Possesses a fair amount of pace
• He is a selfish player
• Very low work rate

9. Ali Akman – 17 years old – Bursaspor Under 19s – P.A. 147

Ali Akman is a 17-year-old striker. Just by looking at his finishing at such a young age we know he’s going to be a beast in front of the goal in the future. We managed to buy him for $2.3M in our save.

• Balanced and normal personality
• Fairly consistent performer
• Good off the ball movement and decisions make him a fairly intelligent player
• Really good finisher
• Isn’t that good at set-pieces
• Might have trouble adapting to another country

10. Mert Müldür – 20 years old – Sassuolo – P.A. 146

Mert Müldür is another player with high current ability and that makes him expensive. We had to pay $12.75M to buy him.

He’s a 20-year-old central defender with lots of potential and that makes him a Turkish FM 20 wonderkid.

• Good adaptability to living in other countries
• The heading is really good and he’s a beast in the air
• Balanced and normal personality
• Fairly consistent performer
• A versatile player who can play a couple of positions
• His passing isn’t that great
• Doesn’t enjoy big matches

11. Erencan Yardımcı – 17 years old – Galatasaray Under 19s – P.A. 146

Erencan Yardımcı is a 17-year-old striker. Based on his initial attributes we can see that he is going to be fast and good in front of the goal in the future. We managed to buy him for only $400k and he is one of the cheapest Turkish wonderkids you can find.

• Very determined player
• Fairly adaptable to living in other countries
• Fairly consistent performer
• Possesses a fair amount of pace
• Great finisher
• Can play in a couple of positions
• Fairly selfish player
• He is known to be dirty and gets unnecessary yellow cards

12. Eren Güler – 16 years old – Bursaspor – P.A. 144

Eren Güler is a 16-year-old wonderkid striker. We managed to buy him for only $2.5M. He’s another player who is going to be fast and good in front of the goal in the future.

• A very adaptable player
• Good dribbling makes him a pain in the back for defenders
• Balanced and normal personality
• Good pace and acceleration
• Can play in a couple of positions
• He is very bad in the air

13. Ozan Kabak – 19 years old – FC Schalke 04 – P.A. 143

Ozan Kabak is a 19-year-old wonderkid central defender who has a high current ability and he plays for Schalke 04. That makes him a very expensive player to buy.

Schalke accepted a $34.5M bid for him but he rejected a contract because he had just joined.

We believe he can be as good as Jonatan Tah in the future.

• Amazing marking ability
• Fairly consistent performer
• A committed player who does everything for his team
• Enjoys big matches
• Isn’t versatile and only plays one position
• Not that great concentration which is important for central defenders

14. Fehmi Koç – 15 years old – Antalyaspor A.Ş. Under 19s – P.A. 140

Fehmi Koç is 15 years old and he is another Turkish wonderkid striker. He can be bought for $3.5M and we believe that he can be good as Alvaro Morata in the future.

• Very adaptable player
• Handles himself in a very professional manner
• Possesses good pace
• Ability to spot a pass and create chances underlines the intelligence of his play
• Isn’t very consistent
• Fairly selfish player
• Isn’t versatile and can only play one position
